Banshees and earmuffs

Last week I came accross a person who calls himself a Slayer Master in Burthorpe. He agreed to help me to become a better slayer. He does this by giving tasks and providing advice. He sent me to slay banshees and gave me a set of earmuffs to protect myself from their shrieks which are rumored to render a fighter incapable of concentrating on fighting...

I also saw a face mask and a bag of salt in the masters' equipment. I wonder what they are for?

Looking for clues

It has been some time since I have written in my dairy. The reason is that I have been looking hard for the missing pages in the prayer book that I found in the lighthouse. I have managed to find 3 so far, all inside chests that a series of clues pointed me to. I will not rest until I have found the fourth page, although I fear that can take quite a long time.

Shades of green

The first time I noticed it I though I was just tired and my eyes got the better of me. But then it dawned on me, not only the color of my ranger boots changed, but also their shape; they seemed to be smaller than before and yet they still fit my feet. Later they changed to different shades of green a few times more. They don't seem to be made very well fading like that. The climbing boots I keep didn't change in color or shape as a result of wear and tear so I guess they were made by a better tailor.

Repairing a lighthouse

On my walks along the north-west coastline I came upon a lighthouse that was dark. Quite a dangerous affair for the ships in these waters! On the doorstep I found a damsel in distress, a nice opportunity to show what a helpfull person I am :-)

After running some errands for her, working myself through the operating manual of the lighthouse (remember never to buy something from that company: they go out of their way to void your warrenty...) and repairing the light, I came accros and slew a horrific beast that kept a worn chest in which we found a book.

The book seems to name Saradomin and looks like a prayer book, but there are pages missing. I guess I'll have to keep looking for pages that fit the book before it's usefull...
